You can have the help of seven certified redesigners! The Makeover Masters of North Texas are looking for a home to transform in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. You will be amazed at the way they will use your furnishings to create a new look and feel for your home!

Support the Cause

The Makeover Masters of North Texas is a group of women business owners who are affiliated with a national organization called IRIS (Interior Redesign Industry Specialists). Our specialty is interior redesign and decorating. We are teaming up with Minnie's Food Pantry of Plano and sponsoring a contest open to residents in the North Texas area.

Enter to Win

  1. A preview design consultation. At this appointment we will tour the following rooms: kitchen and nook, family room, master bedroom and bath and a secondary bedroom of our choice. We will discuss the way that you would like your home to look, feel and function.
  2. The design expertise of seven IRIS certified redesigners who will transform the following rooms in your home while using your furnishings:
    • Family Room
    • Master bedroom and bath
    • Kitchen and breakfast nook
    • A secondary bedroom of our choice
  3. The carpet in one room professionally cleaned by Done Right Windows. The carpet cleaning will be scheduled the day before the redesign.

You can have a comfortable, functional and beautiful home. We know how to incorporate your style and furnishings by strategically rearranging the things you already own! The home makeover/redesign will take place in one day.

Approximate value of prize: $1,600

Nominate

If you would like to nominate your own family or another, print our application form and send it in along with the photos of the home and a $5 suggested donation to Minnie's Food Pantry of Plano.

The deadline for submission is September 30, 2009. The winning homeowner will be picked and notified shortly thereafter with the redesign to be held the week of October 4th.

How to Enter

To enter, complete the entry form from our website (www.MakeoverMastersofNorthTexas.com) along with six (6) 5 x 7 color photos of the rooms to be "made over". All entries must be completed and received on or by September 30, 2009. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. All entries shall become the property of Makeover Masters of North Texas. Makeover Masters of North Texas is not responsible for lost, misdirected, mutilated or delayed entries. Entries received by telephone, fax, courier or personal delivery will not be accepted.

Contest Rules

  1. The contest is open to Residents living in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and must be 18 years of age or older. Identification must be produced on request. Makeover Masters representatives, its contest sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies and their respective affiliates and associates and such employees' immediate family members and persons with whom such employees are domiciled are excluded from this contest.
  2. The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded.
  3. Decisions of the Makeover Masters Group are final - no substitutions will be available.
  4. By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, distribution over the internet and picture data storage) which Makeover Masters Group may deem appropriate.
  5. In accepting the prize, the winner, and any guest(s), acknowledges that Makeover Masters Group may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this prize(s).
  6. Detailed contest rules applicable to this contest, including contest entry dates, how to enter, and prize value, number and any restrictions applicable to these prizes are available upon request from Makeover Masters Group website at www.MakeoverMastersofNorthTexas.com.
  7. Winners and any guests at the age of majority must sign a release form as prepared and accepted by Makeover Masters Group acknowledging their acceptance and understanding of the complete contest rules.
  8. Makeover Masters Group retains the rights, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.
  9. This contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.
  10. Makeover Masters reserves the right to withdraw or terminate this contest at any time without prior notice.
  11. Approximate values of prizes vary.
  12. Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer and may not be separated and must be accepted as awarded, cash equivalent substitution will not be available.
